About Sascha Steffens

I discovered my passion for competitive gaming in 1999 with Counter-Strike. This ignited a journey that saw me as a competitor in various games for over 15 years, including World of Warcraft. It was in this game that I joined Method, a decision that eventually led me to co-found the Method organisation itself. Under my leadership, Method transformed from a World of Warcraft guild into one of the most recognized esports organizations in the world. I am proud to have co-created the Race to World First among other unique projects. My industry peers recognize me for my visionary approach to esports and the future of gaming.

Before committing to Method exclusively, I navigated different career paths. I was a professional poker player for over four years and worked as an independent talent agent, collaborating with prominent gaming personalities. These diverse experiences have not only shaped my professional journey but also continue to inform my approach to the dynamic and ever-evolving world of esports.
